Laura Krage Obituary

 Laura Krage, 56, of Tilton, Illinois died peacefully in her home surrounded by all her family and friends on June 12, 2017.  Born April 8, 1961 in Sterling, IL, she is predeceased by her parents, Patricia Walker of Catlin, il,  Billy Jo Wilcoxen of Danville, il and her brother James Walker of Catlin, il. 

 
    Laura graduated from Westville High School in 1979.  She had 3 children that she is survived by, a daughter, Heather Eller of Tilton, IL, Son, Shane Krage of Danville, IL, Son, Randall Nance of Westville, IL. Sisters, Rita Huff of Catlin, IL, Janet Nance of Lawton, OK, Diane Baugh of Chrisman, IL, Lisa McConnell-Pollock of Arizona and a Brother Terry Rameiz of Sterling, IL.  Grand daughter, Emilee Eller, Grand son, Cole Eller, Grand daughter Desirae Krage and grand daughter Izabel Starwalt.  She is also survived by lots of nieces and nephews that love and care very much for her.
    
    Laura worked for Steel Grip, inc for 5 years and went on to Heat Craft for 10 1/2 years before they closed the doors.  She went on to get her CNA license and cared for people in their homes until she ended up at Krupp Gerlach for 7 1/2 years before her cancer prevented her from working. 
 
    Laura enjoyed attending her grandkids' sport activities, going gambling, yard work, planting flowers and taking drives on Friday nights with her best friend (Jamine Stingley).  She liked fishing, rummaging and going mushrooming on the weekends.  She loved most of all spending time with her friends and family. 
 
    A memorial service will be held June 15, 2017 at Kennekuk Cove County Park, 22296 Henning Rd. Danville, IL 61834 in the big red barn from 4-7 p.m. Laura wanted any donations made in her honor to go the American Cancer Society. 
 
    The Family would like to thank Carle Hospice for taking such good care of Laura and for being there for the family in our time of need.  A special thanks to her team of Dr.'s and nurses at Carle Cancer Center for their care in her journey.  A very special thank you to her family and friends that were there the last days.  It meant the world to her and to her children.
