Leon "Brownie" Brown, Jr. passed away on September 9 2020 at the age of 73.

Leon was born to Leon Brown and Blanche Shrout on September 8 1947. He was the youngest of four. Leon was a Vietnam Veteran.

Leon married Linda Boyd on December 2, 1969. He has 3 children, Debra (Mike) Kiger of Kingman, IN, Cheryl (Gary) Troxel of Bismarck, IL, and Michael Brown of Tilton, IL.

Leon is survived by his siblings; Sandra Yates of Georgia, Richard (Doris) Brown of Ridge Farm IL and Gloria Cheeseman (widowed) of Kingman, IN, 3 grandsons; Jason (Jessie) Troxel of Terre Haute, IN, Justin (Michelle) Troxel of Tilton, IL, and Jeremy (Karli) Troxel of Bismarck, IL and 4 great-grandchildren; J’Than of Tilton, Nova, Timmy and Chevelle of Bismarck.

Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a graveside service held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17 at Songer Cemetery in Tilton.
