Linda (Devylder) Erwin

Linda Mae Erwin, age 72, of Danville, IL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born April 12, 1949 to Sever Devylder and Lydia M. Love Devylder in Madisonville, KY.

Linda attended the Latter Rain Fellowship Church in Tilton, IL. Linda loved the Lord and her family. She worked at Hobbico INC. in Champaign, IL for 10 years until her retirement in 2011. She will be fondly remembered as Munchkin by her friends and coworkers. Linda’s children will remember her as being stubborn, hardheaded, and outspoken, but she had a heart of gold.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Wayne Devylder; sister, Judy Marie Devylder Sutton; great grandson, Stetson Clark Kent and grandparents, Clarence Love and Lillie Corbitt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Steve Erwin; son, Jerry Eugene (Misty) Adkins Jr. of Pikeville, TN; two daughters, Lori Ann Kent Cabbage of Island, KY; Jerri Lynn Hise (fiancé, Nate Beene) of Danville, IL; brother, Donald Leon (Brenda) Devylder of Madisonville, KY; four grandsons, Richard Norris Kent, Caleb Glenn Hise (caregiver), Jacob Cole Hise and Jerry William Adkins; two granddaughters, Madison Renee Hise and Lacie Breanna Kent; one great grandson; three great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private memorial held at a later date. The family asks that if you have any special memories to please share them and keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
