Lu Ann (Fertaly) Brown, 66, of Danville, passed away ay at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at O.S.F. Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. Lu Ann was born in Danville, IL October 3, 1954, the daughter of Joseph and Maxine Fertaly.

Survivors include one daughter; Annastasia May Brown, a sister; Jo Ellen (Richard) Jones, a stepsister; Pixie (Barney) Sloan, two nieces; Mary and Barbara Jones, several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Lu Ann is preceded in death by her parents.

After graduating from Schlarman High School, Lu Ann became a nurse. She worked for several places in Danville and Champaign before her daughter was born. Lu Ann loved reading spiritual books and her Bible and loved watching old movies with Anna.

Due to covid restrictions, the visitation held for Lu Ann will be family only at The Rock Church in Danville with burial after at Resurrection Cemetery.
