Lynn E. Boggess

Lynn E Boggess, 72 of Danville, Il passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at OSF Hospital in Danville, Il.

He was born May 31, 1947 in Potomac, Il the son of Harold and Clarabelle (Clemmons) Boggess         

He married Dorene Powell on March 10, 1967.

Surviving are his wife: Dorene of Danville; son: Richard Boggess (Janet) of Oakwood, Il; daughter: Kimberly Haworth (Maurice) of Danville, Il; brother: Jerry Boggess (Ingrid) of Wesley Chapel, Fl; sister: Sherry Johnson(Raymond) of Thomasboro, Il; grandchildren: Taylor Boggess of Oakwood, Il; Kamber Haworth (Dalton) of Danville; Jeremy Haworth of Danville and Kazelyn Haworth of Danville; a special friend Everett Poepp of Danville; two nieces and a nephew also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister in law: Heidi Boggess and a nephew.

He graduated from Potomac High School and graduated from Hobart Welding School in Hobart, Oh. He worked as a welder for many years at Allith-Prouty, Hyster and Danville Metal Stamping, he also owned Mr. Pest Control in Danville for many years and was a truck driver at Mclane Midwest in Danville before retiring. He was also a member of Kickapoo Fire Dept before moving to Oakwood, Il and joining Oakwood Fire Dept and Oakwood EMS.
