It is with a heavy heart, we share the sudden passing of Madison Jolynn Tharp, 25, on March 21, 2025 at 12:45am. Madison was born in Danville, IL and raised in Potomac, IL She enjoyed her youth there, her teachers, best girlfriends, country life and of course, her brother and his friends. She was an excellent student and never brought a book home.
Madison had worked in eye care and felt it was her dream job and within a short period had worked up to assistant manager. She had been leading a quiet life. Her favorite things to do were a good movie with her cat, Lucee and her favorite blanket, going out to lunch, listening to music, Tik Tok, and gaming. She enjoyed holidays with her family every year and a warm day out in nature with friends.
Madison had a big heart for the disadvantaged and for animals. She needed love from a pet everywhere she went. Her silly laugh (snort), her beautiful smile and her presence will be missed daily.
Madison is survived by her Father Brian Tharp, Mother Vicky Palmer Tharp (Joe), brother, Hunter Tharp (Michelle), niece, Briar Tharp, grandparents, Jim and Cheryl Palmer, beloved cat, Lucee, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Robert Richey, grandparents, Joe and Norma Tharp, aunt, Tinky Snyder and cousin, Patsy Trimble.
Madison will be cremated at Rortvedt Funeral Service in Tilton, IL. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
"May Peace and Unconditional Love be with you, Madison"
