Martha Nelson Obituary
Martha E. Nelson, 86, of Danville passed away Sunday March 25, 2018.
She was born March 22, 1932 in Danville to John W. and Gertrude (Jacks) Pichon.
On April 14, 1951 she was married to Alvin (Pete) Nelson Sr. Pete passed away January 27, 1967.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice L. (Mark) Brasel of Danville, a son Alvin L. (Butch) Nelson of Covington, IN and a son-in-law Robert Falconio of Westville; grandchildren Josh (Lyndsey) Nelson, Sara (Jeremy) Humphrey and Eric Falconio, along with three great grandchildren. Also sisters Emma Reardon and Frances (Ernest) Benting and family friend Shirley Musson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Cheryl Ann Nelson and Brenda Sue Falconio; brother Robert Pichon, sisters Irma Galasinski, Edith Sporcich and Mary Williams.
Martha retired from R&S Printing as a bookbinder. She was a devoted mother who spent her life supporting and caring for her family.
Per her wishes there will be no visitation or services. A graveside gathering for the family will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday April 4th, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery.
