Mary Eileen (Kniery) Kennedy

Mary Eileen Kennedy, 66, of Danville, IL passed away on July 15, 2025. Mary was born August 9, 1958, in Springfield, IL. She married Kevin Kennedy on October 17, 1981, he survives with three sons, Scott (Shelley Griffith) of Danville IL, Brian (Alex Morse) of Danville IL, and David of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by four brothers, Stephen (Bonnie Vanderwater) of Scottsdale AZ, Mark of Chatham IL, John (Debbie Green) of Springfield IL, James of Chandler AZ, and several nieces and nephews, and one grandson (Jack Kennedy). She proudly served as a Licensed Daycare Provider for over 40 years, making a difference in children’s lives, and hers. In honor of Mary, we would like to have a special placing of flowers during the visitation at 5:30 by each of you who were in Mary’s care. Mary had a great love for her family and friends, and them for her, she will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Robison Chapel, 103 Douglas Street, Catlin, IL 61817, with services at 6:00 p.m. following the visitation.
