Marylynn R. Jones

Marylynn R. Jones, of Danville, passed away on October 8, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. Marylynn was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Ruby (Hunt) Glines, her beloved loving husband of 47 years, Mark D. Jones, on December 29, 2020, and a grandson, gone too soon, Darrell W. Smith, III. She is survived by her six children, James (Beth) Hunt, Melissa (Michael) Gillespie, Jr., David (Gina) Hunt, Patrick Hunt, Robin Hunt Kurtz and Trent Hunt, fifteen grandchildren, Shane (Kalie) Hunt, Brandi Jo (James) Johnson, Bryan Miladinovic, Justin Hunt, Chris Smith, April (Jesse) Klor, Payton Hunt, Bryan Gross, Garrett (Leslie) Hunt, Jordan Hunt, Austin Bradley, Tifani Hunt, Bryan (Kirby) Hunt, Abby (Morgan) Reeder, David Kurtz, eighteen great-grandchildren, siblings, Shirley (Al) Greene, Jerry (Julie) Glines, Don (Mary) Glines, Kathy Glines and Mike (Terri) Glines. Marylynn was a loving mother and friend to her children and family. We couldn’t have asked for a stronger, more devoted mother to have shown us the old-fashioned way how to be strong, respectful, loving, honest people. We have become business owners, lifters of others, transcending, always believing in family. You, Marylynn R. Jones were an awesome daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by us all. May God hold you in His loving arms until we meet again.
