Melissa Kay Reisinger Day

Melissa Kay Reisinger Day, 58, of Danville, IL passed away October 29, 2025, at her home with her loving husband by her side. She was born on August 5, 1967, in Terre Haute, IN, to the late Joe Reisinger and Dorothy Reisinger Cramer.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Reisinger of Danville, IL.

Missy is survived by her loving husband of 5 years, John Day, whom she married on April 26, 2020; daughter, Brianna Bogard of Danville, IL; four stepsons, Zachary, Joshua, Jesse and Seth Day; three sisters, Connie Griffin of Kentucky, Robin Watson of Rockville, IN and Aimee Poole of Florida; and two brothers, Jim Reisinger of Danville, IL and John Reisinger of Marshall, IN.

Missy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held at the David S. Palmer Arena, 100 W. Main St. Danville, IL on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and share stories and memories of Missy.
