Michael Dean "Brownstone" Brown

Michael “Brownstone” Dean Brown, 52, of Tilton, Gained His Wings Friday, August 18th, 2023, at OSF Medical Center in Danville. Mike was born October 6th, 1970, to Leon and Linda (Boyd) Brown; they have preceded him in death along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Debra “Deb” Kiger. Surviving family members include his sister, Cheryl (Gary) Troxel and his three nephews, Jason, Justin and Jeremy Troxel, a very special friend, Mindy Cheeseman and so many more, especially The Tilton Hoods.

Mike earned his GED at DACC and had worked for Central States for several years. Mike had a love for music and his favorite band was Motley Crue. He loved sitting around playing his guitars like a Rock Star. Mike also loved the movie “The Crow” which he would dress up for at Halloween and his dad would paint his face up to look just like The Crow. Mike was well loved by all his friends and their families. Mike was very kind at heart and spent many holidays with them and will truly be missed by so many this holiday season.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26th, 2023, at Songer Cemetery. Pastor Dustin Wells will be officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life planned for a later date.
