Michael Eugene White

Michael E. White, 56, of Danville passed away at 1:23 AM, November 2, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital.  He was born on December 18, 1965, in Danville, IL the son of Eugene and Pauline (Watts) White.

Mike grew up in Danville and never met a stranger.  He was a semi pro bowler and earned many awards over the years. Mike loved the outdoors. He enjoyed taking his boat out fishing at Kickapoo, playing cards, visiting with his many friends and organizing cookouts at Vermilion House where he lived.

Mike was retired and previously worked for Carnaghi Towing.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; Johnny Joe, Danny, Robert, Tommy Edwards, and Teresa White; and granddaughter Zoe Jane.

He is survived by his daughters; Kailey and Ashley Orlea White; his stepdaughter Ashley Shields Cooper; his sister Lori and special niece Carissa Yocious; as well as many other nieces & nephews.

Mike touched many lives and brought joy to many.  He will be deeply missed by his family and all those whose lives he enriched.

Services will be held at Ridgeview Baptist Church on Saturday November 12.  Visitation will be from 1-3 with memorial service at 3 PM with Pastor Dave Garver officiating.
