Nancy Rose (Dillman) Milak

Nancy Rose (Dillman) Milak, age 84, of Danville, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She
was born on April 3, 1939 in Champaign, Illinois. The daughter of Cecil Henry and Elsie Maye Dillman.
On February 18, 1956 she married Joseph Arthur Milak in Champaign, IL. He preceded her in death on
December 22, 2020. Also, surviving are her daughters Tina (Dennis) Knight of Sidell, Illinois and Tammy
Richmond of Lexington Park, MD. She has 4 Grandsons, Robert (Jennifer) Gardner, Ryan, Troy (Natasha),
Casey and 1 granddaughter Heidi Knight., 16 great grandkids and 1 great great grandson. She is survived
by one sibling Charles David Dillman, as well as many nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Carl)
Thul.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, doing floral
arrangements, knitting, crocheting, needle pointing and making quilts. She made over 300 quilts, for
family, children with autism, cancer patients and nursing homes. St. Jude children’s hospital was very
dear to her heart. Nancy & Joseph have been donating to St. Jude’s for over 45 years.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 1 p.m., Grandview Memorial Garden in the
Mausoleum, 4112 W. Bloomington Rd, Champaign IL. 61826.
