Pamela Norgaar Obituary

Pamela Sue Norgaar, 56, of Danville IL, took her last breath on Friday September 17th 2021 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She died in her home surrounded by her loved ones and animals.

Pam was born on December 24th 1964 to William Brannin and Violet Witty in Danville IL. They preceded her in death. In 2006, Pam married her soulmate and best friend Mitchell Norgaar. She had four children: Sean Swenson, Anthony (Abigail) Razaitis, Kelsey (Will) Connelly, and Ryan Brannin. Her world revolved around them and all her grandchildren: Cameron, Dominic, Bryson, Christopher, Nathaniel, Hunter, Alexis, Zaydien, Remington, Arabella, Erisa, Amalia, Sylas, Addalynn. The only thing that came close to the love she had for her family, was her love for animals. She had 2 dogs, Chloe and Gracie, and 4 cats, Max, Bailey, Winston, and Bianca. She was an animal activist. She administrated a local animal group alongside her close friend Bridgette Palermo-Frazier. Her compassion and love for animals was enormous. Pam rescued the broken and gave comfort to those who felt alone in this world.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitch; son, Sean Swenson; brother, Steve Weston; nephew, Matthew; and granddaughter, Zoe.

Surviving in addition to her children and grandchildren are, sister, Theresa (David) Norgaar of Danville; close friend, Madonna Vance of Danville; Niece, K’la Hillard of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Nephews, James and Christopher Brannin of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Joey Regan of Danville.

Per Pam’s wishes, a service will not be done, and instead close family will celebrate her life in a private setting. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
