Patricia I. (Walton) Engelmann

Patricia I. Engelmann passed away on October 6, 2020 after a brief illness.  Patricia was born on November 19, 1932 in Oakwood, Illinois to Harry and Annabelle Walton.  She married John W.C. Engelmann on March 4, 1949.  He preceded her in death.  Together they had seven children.  Patricia was survived by five children: Cheryl (Fred) Bayles, Crystal (Jed) Starns, Rene Engelmann, Leah Engelmann, and Lori “George” (Chris) Roberts. She was preceded in death by a son - Gregory Engelmann and a daughter - Joni K. Engelmann.  Patricia is also survived by special family friends - Warren Raspberry and Michelle Jones.  Patricia is also survived by Grandchildren:  Brandy Engelmann, Brooke (Jeff) Parsons, Jodi (Kale) Boyd, Jason (Tabitha) Starns, Seyward (Wayne) Loschen, Jed P. Starns, Rebecca (Chris) Dorward, Shane (Rachael) Jackson, Rachel (Darcy) Duitsman, Lacey (Larry) Sutton and Kristina (Jacob) Ritz.  Along with 27 Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great-Grandson.  Patricia was an avid Mushroom hunter and fishing woman. Euchre was her favorite card game.  In her later years Patricia loved reading her favorite authors.  An informal gathering will be at 11: 00 a.m. Saturday, October 10th at Oakwood Cemetery. Immediately following, family and friends are welcome at Patricia’s house for a meal.
