Paul E. Burow, Sr., 76, of Georgetown, was born on May 4, 1947 to Mary "Betty" Barrick and John Francis Burow. They preceded him in death as well as his brothers, Jerry Spencer and Terry Spencer and Terry's wife Mildred. He has a surviving brother Larry and a brother Chancy.
Paul married Linda Carol Line in 1967 whom he affectionately nicknamed "Ralphie". She preceded him in death in 2007. He later married Debra S. Knopp August 22, 2014 in Danville, she survives. Paul and Linda had three children together, Nancy (Keith) Spriestersbach of Danville, Paul E. (Barbara) Burow, Jr. of Lindsay, OK, and John William Burow. He has 8 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Angelica S. (Paul) Hess of Colonial Heights, VA and Erik R. Loreto of Tilton and step-grandchildren, Destiny M. Harris, Rosabella K. Servis, Xavier L. Hess and Eli G. Loreto.
He was part of the rebuilding team at West Side Church of the Nazarene in Danville where he also organized many gospel singing events and was the Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He dressed as a clown several times for Vacation Bible School and loved being around the church family.
He was employed as a younger man at Kmart foods and then worked for Duckett Disposal Service. When the business sold, he worked for Gary LaBaw in his Disposal Service. He moved on to drive over the road for Star Transport and then CX Roberson. He had a triple bypass which left him unable to be on the road as much. He loved doing Wordsearch and going for drives. His favorite song was “I Wouldn’t Change You If I Could”
