Paul Warren Hack, 80, of Danville, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 1, 2025. He was born October 15, 1944, in Marshall, Missouri to Oral N and Mildred (Atteberry) Hack. He married Peggy Grissom March 22, 1969, in Danville, she survives. Warren is also survived by his children, Todd (Linda) Hack of Millstadt, Illinois, Shawn Hack of Fort Worth, Texas and Angie Hack of Danville, Illinois. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Melody Hack of Danville, Illinois, Mackenzie Kizer of Brooklyn, New York and Wyatt Hack of Millstadt, Illinois as well as great-grandchildren, Lane, Ellie, Scottie, Holden, Davin and Hunter. He is also survived by a sister, Marlene Jones of Coker, Alabama, brothers, Dave (Jan) Hack of Oakwood, Illinois and Dean Hack of Urbana, Illinois and many nieces and nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Kylie Rae Hack, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Lester and Ruby Grissom, four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
Warren was a skilled and very well-respected carpenter who co-owned Hack Construction with his brother, Dean, later owning P & W Construction. He loved playing golf with his brothers, Dave and Dean and his mother while she was alive. Warren was also a NASCAR fan. He was an animal lover who cared for many pets throughout his life.
According to his wishes, he will be cremated and a private burial will take place at a later date in Georgetown Cemetery.
