Raymond J Hallett

Tilton, IL - Raymond J Hallett, age 84 of Tilton passed from this life on Saturday December 14, 2024 at 2:19 am.  He was active in ministry serving the Lord.  He had many hobbies and careers throughout his life: he was a welder, co-founder of Linda’s Outlet and the Barely Used Shop.

Raymond spent lots of time in his woodworking shop.  He was a witty, funny, and creative man.  He was a loving husband and father.  He was born October 22, 1940 to Raymond S Hallett and Mary J (Powell) Hallett.  He was married to Linda S (Treadway) Hallett for 66 years.  She is included in the survivors along with his sister, Elaine and her husband Bill Darding of Kewanee, IL.  His son, Raymond Allen Hallett and his wife Laurie L Hallett of Reeds Springs, MD, his daughter Lori F Butler of Danville, Il and his best friend Bill Squires of Catlin, IL.  10 grandchildren including : Charles, Kristina, Darren, Bailey, Luken, Helena Lynn, Kalea and Gabriel, along with 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded by his parents, his daughter Tammy Jo, son William, two brothers Larry and Jerry Hallett, along with 2 grandchildren Raymond and Steven B.  He was cremated and services will be held at a later date.  Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
