Richard M. Kantout

Richard M. Kantout, 72, of Danville, passed away at 1:34 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at home. He was born April 27, 1943 in Danville a son of Richard F and M. Rosemary (Barrett) Kantout. He is survived by a son, David (Stefanie) Kantout of Indianapolis, two grandchildren, Larissa Kantout and Drake Kantout and a great-grandson, Bentley Kantout. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a U.S. Marine serving from 1960 to 1964. He worked for Illinois Power Company and K & K Fence. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

According to his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be at1:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at Danville National Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 210. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
