Rob Wesley Richter son of Penny Ollis, Loving Husband of Chelsey Krage, devoted father of Nolan Fox Richter, was tragically taken from us on July 9th 2023 in Urbana, Illinois. He was born on August 19th 1994, a day that will forever be remembered for inflicting one more Richter-Scale tremor into the world.
Rob was a man of many talents who loved to crack jokes, build computers, travel and save the turtles. But, most importantly, he loved to spend any and all his free time with his son. Rob enjoyed taking Nolan to the park, jumping on the bed, reading books, playing cars, dancing in the rain and making countless memories with his son. Rob was an outstanding Father.
Rob attended Saint Joseph High School, graduating in 2012 where he met a wonderful group of lifelong friends. After high school, Rob moved out to Idaho where he attended Idaho State University before enlisting in the United States Air Force.
Despite his many quirks, Rob was a family man through and through. He met the love of his life Chelsey Krage in August of 2009. In April of 2014 they embarked on the journey of Marital Bliss or was it Marital Chaos- we may never know. Together they brought Nolan Fox Richter into the world on November 7, 2020, a child who inherited many of Rob's traits from his looks down to his silly and dorky genes.
Rob Richter will be dearly missed but forever remembered as the man who danced to the beat of his own off-tempo drum, leaving a trail of laughter and confusion in his wake. Rest in peace, Rob. Thank you for the uncontrollable giggles and the unforgettable memories. We hope the afterlife appreciates your unique sense of humor as much as we did. You will be loved and missed Forever and Always.
