Robert W. Arnholt

Robert “Bob” W. Arnholt, 66, lifelong resident of Danville, IL, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.

Bob was the son of Gerald G. Arnholt, Jr. and the late Mary Anne (Haas) Arnholt of Danville, IL. He graduated from Danville area schools, attended Kansas State University and was a graduate of the American Institute of Baking, earning a degree in Bakery Science. He spent many years working at Arnholt Bakery in Danville and other businesses related to the baking industry. For many years, Bob was a member on the Vermilion County Conservation District Board and was active with the local Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, and the Jaycee’s. Bob was also involved with many masonic organizations, including Past Master Counselor of Demolay, member of Zora Shrine of Terre Haute, Past President of the Western Indiana Shrine Club, member of the Gao Grotto in Danville, and was a 45-year member of Anchor Lodge 980.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Anne (Haas) Arnholt.

Bob married Kristi Ferpotto and together they had one son, Parker Anthony Arnholt. Bob and Kristi eventually divorced.

He is survived by his son, Parker; his father, Gerald Arnholt, Jr.; his sister, Angela Arnholt; and his brothers Thomas (Robin), Matthew, and Gerald Arnholt III (Diane). In addition, he is survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

 A celebration of life for Bob will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Danville American Legion Post 210 on 201 Prospect Place, Danville, IL, with Masonic services to follow at 3:00 p.m.
