Roy Willis

Roy Willis 80, of Williamsport, Indiana passed away at 11:17pm Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

He was born in Peytonsburg, Kentucky on August 5, 1940 the son of John and Jewel Willis.

He Married Dorothy M. Spears on December 16, 1961.

Not only does he leave behind of his wife of 58 years, he also leaves behind one daughter Penny Hubbard, and two great grandsons, Braydon Marrow and Noah Stefaniak.

Roy had 12 brothers and sisters: Virgil (Minnie) Willis of Livingston, TN, Leo (Brenda) Willis of Livingston, TN, Gene (Catherine)Willis of Allons, TN, Pauline Carter of Livingston, TN, Madine (Leonard) Carmack of Cooksville, TN, Josephine (Teston) Gilpatrick of Livingston, TN and Cleo Walker of Richland, MS, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and his only grandson.

Roy was an owner/operator of Willis Trucking for 40 years. He retired in 2014.

Roy came to Illinois in the late 50's, but never lost his southern drawl. He enjoyed go kart racing with his grandson and watching him play football.

Per Roy's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
