Russell Eugene DeAtley

Russell Eugene DeAtley passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2025, surrounded by his family.  Russell was born on January 25th, 1953.  Anyone who knew Russell knew how much he loved his family.  Some may say he was a gentle giant, his sons might say he was as stubborn as they come. 

Russell lived a long life and can now be reunited with his love of over 52 years.  Russell is proceeded in death by his wife, sister and parents.  Russell is survived by his sons, Scotty and Steven DeAtley; his siblings, Jerry (Martha) DeAtley, Allen (Michelle) DeAtley, Lynette DeAtley and Sue Ellen (Joel) Knox; nieces, nephews and grandchildren. 

Russell has requested not to have a service because he would rather everyone create new memories together rather than mourn the loss of him.  Russell will be buried at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery next to his wife, Debbie.  Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
