Samuel Howell Obituary

Samuel Edward Howell, 87, of Danville, Illinois, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois. He was born July 7, 1934 in Danville, Illinois to John Edward and Mabel (Eickleman) Howell. Samuel was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1952 to 1956. Samuel received the National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

Please join us in honoring this Veteran with no known family. Funeral services for Samuel Howell will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022 at Danville National Cemetery 1900 E. Main Street, Danville, IL 61832 with Chaplain Susan Street-Beavers officiating. Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 210. Patriot Guard will provide escort and honors.
