Sandra Sue Lappin

Sandra Sue Lappin, 81, of Danville went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 18th, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on August 4, 1939, the daughter of Danny and Ada Mae Crouch. She married Larry Lappin on May 29, 1958, with whom she was reunited. Together they had five children; Penny (Jeff) Powel of Danville, Larry “Bub” Lappin of Indiana, Jimmey (Tammie) Lappin of Indianola, Brad (Terrie) Lappin of Westville, and Troy (Kim) Lappin of Alabama; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who all survive.  Also surviving are her sister, Sharon Welker and brother, Danny (Juli) Crouch, both of Danville.

Sandi enjoyed playing cards and Bunco. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Those who knew Sandi knew she was always on the go! She also loved taking backroads to anywhere and everywhere she went, even if it was an extra hour drive. Sandi will be missed dearly by everyone that loved and knew her.

Sandi will be laid to rest alongside her late husband (Larry) at Johnson Cemetery. Graveside services for Sandi will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 23 at Johnson Cemetery. Rortvedt Funeral Services & Crematory is assisting the family.
