Sharon Kaye George, 78, of Champaign, passed away on January 12, 2025 at 7:02 am. She was a graduate of Urbana High School. She was the daughter of Corbin and Sylvia Lenhart who preceded her in death. She has three surviving children, son Wayne George of Champaign, son Tag George of Oakwood, daughter Teresa Adams and grandson London Adams both of Paxton. She collected birds and clocks. She was interested in archeology and was an artist. As a nod to her native American heritage and love for art she painted a 4-foot-tall ceramic native American statue she proudly called Kalijah. Her creativity was on display one winter as she and her kids made a huge snow dinosaur in the back yard. She had many drawings to her name and people that knew her would say, you know what, she is pretty darn funny. She said her biggest accomplishment in life was her children. She had a very small but very loving family circle. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. She will be missed beyond measure. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
