Sharon Jean (Anderson) Hayden

Sharon Jean Hayden, 58, passed away on September 6, 2019 at Gardenview Manor in Danville, IL. She was born on January 17, 1961 in Danville, IL to Allen and Barbara (Fox) Anderson. Sharon grew up in Danville. She graduated from Danville High School in 1979.  After high school she attended DACC where she received a licensed practical nurse certificate. She worked at Danville Manor, Vermilion County Nursing Home and Big Lots.

Sharon married Gregory Hayden in 1980 in Danville, IL. They were happily married for 39 years. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, and crafting. She was always making blankets, booties, and Christmas ornaments for friends and family. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, a niece April Williams, a nephew Robert (Bob) Hayden, daughter in law Kristian Hayden and son in law Steve Borst. Sharon is survived by her spouse Gregory. Her children; Gregory (Alisha Wolfe) Hayden Jr. of Oakwood, Steven Hayden of Danville, Amanda (Randy) Jeffers of Perrysville IN, Jessica Borst of Marseilles, IL; her sister Pat (Richard) Lewis of Danville; Mother in law Gladys Miller, sister in law Sue (Eli) Williams,  brother in laws Michael Hayden of Terre Haute, IN and Bill Meeker of Danville, IL;  her grandchildren, Ian Hayden, Autumn Hayden, Randall Jeffers, Zaylen Hayden, David Jeffers, Brantley Hayden, Keely and Kylie Wolfe along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces whom she loved dearly. She was also survived by two special friends Deb Elliot and Donna Golladay.

 Per Sharon’s wishes there will be no service, however, there will be a celebration of her life held at her daughter Amanda’s home on October 12, 2019 at 4:00 pm Central time. Please contact Amanda at 812-240-6447 for more information.
