Sharon Rogers Obituary

On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, Sharon Lynn Rogers went to her Heavenly home surrounded by her children. She was met in Heaven by her husband, Dennis Rogers and her parents, Kenneth and Eleanor White.

Sharon was born in South Belmar, New Jersey on August 4, 1944. She grew up in New Jersey, sharing her life with two sisters and one brother. Linda Holt is her only surviving sibling. Sharon met Dennis at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. The two were married on August 12, 1964. Together they had three surviving children: Kelli Denise Reinhart (Kerry), Angela Lynn Engle, and Dennis Paul Rogers (Kristi). She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Joshua Holycross, Chelsey Davis, Aubriana Engle, and Dawson Rogers. She had two great grandchildren: Miles Holycross and Riley Davis.

Sharon served in ministry alongside her husband from 1969 until his death on January 20, 2006. She devoted her life to the service of others and her family. She loved cooking for her family, crafting, and spending time with her husband and children. She lived a simple life of love and service. She loved animals and held a special place in her heart for her German Shepherd, Sammy.

A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Memorials can be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
