Sondra Nolte Obituary

Sondra Jane Nolte, 70, of Georgetown, formerly of Danville, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at home. She was born on April 30, 1955, in Danville to James Bradford and Eleanor Ann (Ritter) Britton. She married Ronald Joseph Nolte; he preceded her in death. She graduated from Oakwood High School in 1974. She was an Alzheimer’s Coordinator and activity director in Kentucky. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, sewing, making crafts, crocheting and riding Harley’s.

She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Ann Britton of Danville, her son, Roy Durkee (Jana) of Covington, her daughter, Jodi Lane of Georgetown, a special nephew Luke Britton, her grandchildren; Trevor (Kayla) Osborn, Lily (Andrew) Hix, Wiley Jack Durkee, Maverick Durkee, Summerstar King, Shyanne King, her dog, Calijo, great-grandchildren Juniper Hix, Willow Hix, Finn Osborn, Hexley Osborn, her brother, Jim Britton and her sister Tammy Hall. She was preceded in death by her father, James Bradford Britton, 2 sisters, Brenda Callahan and Teresa Britton, her aunt Neat and uncle, Roy.

A memorial Celebration of Life will be at Grace Community Church 1629 King Street, Tilton, IL 61833 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, followed by a dinner. Memorials may be made to Grace Community Church. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
