Stanley Broderick Obituary

Stanley James “Jim” Broderick, 82, of Tilton, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at The Waters of Covington. He was born July 19, 1939 in Danville to Roy Franklin and Agnes (Moore) Broderick. He is survived by his daughters, Sherrina (Scott) Hansen of Riverton, Utah and Christina Broderick of Lafayette Indiana, three brothers, John (Sue) Broderick, Don (Carol) Broderick and Ken (Paula) Broderick, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren with one on the way, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Anna Wilberg, his parents, a sister, Linda Hagen, 2 brothers, Roy Broderick and Richard “Dick” Broderick and a great-grandson.

Jim was a jack-of-all-trades and lived life to the fullest. He worked in construction and trucking. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served with Elvis Presley. Jim was a good man with a good heart and would give you the shirt off his back even if he didn’t know you. He had a love for feeding the squirrels. He will be missed by many.

Graveside services and burial for Jim will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Danville National Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post 210. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
