Stephanie Manint Obituary

Stephanie Ardith (Cleland) Manint, 49 died on the morning of November 16, 2017 in Urbana. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held January 20, 2018 at Crane Alley in Urbana from 2-4 p.m.

Stephanie was born March 28, 1968 in DeKalb, the daughter of John Cleland of Pasadena, MD and Susan (Sticklen) Cleland of Urbana. She is survived by her parents, aunts, an uncle and several cousins, nieces, great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: William and Eunice Sticklen, Jack Cleland and Margaret Hartrick, and by her uncle, Robert Sticklen.

Stephanie graduated from Champaign High School and Millikin University. She was a

grant writer for the Senior Resource Center in Champaign.

Stephanie loved cats, cooking, crochet and was an avid reader. She was a firm believer in cat rescue. Since all of her cats came from local rescue, donation in her memory can be made to Catsnap, Champaign, IL where she rescued her last kitten. Rortvedt Funeral Services & Crematory in Tilton is assisting the family.
