Stephen Dale Cooper, 75, of Clinton, Indiana, passed away on March 7, 2026. He was born on September 22, 1950, to Wallace Dale Cooper and Kathryn Cooper, who both preceded him in death.
Stephen spent his life in and around the Clinton area and will be remembered by those who knew him for the life he lived and the memories he shared with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley, and had a strong appreciation for firearms.
Stephen was a long time member of ABATE and participated in many charity rides over the years, especially those supporting muscular dystrophy, a cause close to his heart as both his wife, Sallie, and daughter, Sierra, were affected by the disease.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Dale Cooper and Kathryn Cooper; his wife, Sallie Cooper; and his daughter, Sierra Cooper.
He is survived by his daughter, Rana Cooper; his step-son, Michael Kaperack; and his adopted daughter, Jessica Cassidy; his brothers, Greg Cooper and his wife, Debbie, of Princeton, Texas, and Jeff Cooper and his wife, Lisa, of Danville, Illinois; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his aunt and uncle, Shirley and Merrill Weaver of Gas City, Indiana.
Funeral or memorial service arrangements will be announced by the family at a later time.
Stephen will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
