Obituary
Steve L. Stevens, 72, of Danville passed away June 27 at Accolade Healthcare. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Donna, his children Stephanie (Kory) Nestler, Amanda (Scott) Musgrave, and Aaron (Stacie) Stevens, and grandchildren Taylor, Colton, and Connor Musgrave, Joshua Nestler, and Kinley and Kambrie Stevens. His siblings include Mike (Linda) Stevens, Don (Kay) Stevens, Pam (Steve) Young, Theresa Windland, and Cindy (Gary) Haun. Survivors also include (sister and brother) Kathy and Craig Klinefelter.
Steve served in the Illinois National Guard. He was employed by TeePak for forty-five years until his retirement in 2015.
Steve enjoyed playing tennis, doing crossword puzzles, beating everyone at euchre, and listening to a wide variety of music from Elvis (his favorite) to the Eagles to Johnny Cash. He passed his love of music on to his children. Steve and Donna loved to travel, especially to Gatlinburg, TN., Disney World, and Anna Maria Island, FL. He was an avid Cubs fan and took several trips to Wrigley Field with his family to watch them play.
His family would like to thank Accolade and Traditions Hospice Care for their support and caring. There will be no services per his request.
Steve was a wonderful, loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved to spoil his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
