Tammy Joe Gayheart passed away peacefully on September 25, 2022 late evening.
Tammy was unforgettable and had a big heart. She loved children dearly and cared for everyone she knew including her nieces and nephews and her family in Ohio, whom she talked about nonstop. Her favorite things to do were talking and singing with children and being with her dog Lil Bit who she loved dearly.
Tammy worked at First Baptist as a Preschool teacher for 18 years and the Colonel Manor Nursing Home as a CNA for 18 years.
In the last 4 years of her life, she lived with her sister Beverly who loved and took care of her and made many unforgettable memories of the many firsts that Tammy was able to enjoy before passing.
She’s proceeded in death by her mother Garnet Lou Countryman, her father Joseph P Gayheart, her second father Darrell Countryman, her grandma and grandpa (Gayheart) and grandma and grandpa (Rice)
Tammy leaves behind her sister Beverly Sherman, brother Terry L Gayheart, her nieces and nephew Crystal Greene (Jovon Greene), Brandy Foote (Donnie Brumberlow), Darrell Countryman (Joelle Ritz) and her great nieces and nephews Serenity, Xander, Aaliyah, Javonie, Jlah, JR, Haleigh, Dennis, Ryder, Braxton, Paisley, and Parker.
Tammy will be dearly missed; God got an angel. Rest In Peace. We all love you.
