Tammy Sue (Crane) Hazelbaker

Tammy Sue Hazelbaker 60, of Fithian passed away peacefully March 16, 2025 at her home in Fithian surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

Tammy was born August 13, 1964 to Charles and Janet (Witman) Crane in Danville, IL. Tammy married John A Hazelbaker on August 11, 1996 at Kickapoo State Park in Oakwood, IL. Tammy has 2 sons, CJ Bailey of Mahomet, IL and Joshua Bailey of Danville, IL. She also has 4 stepchildren, Greg Adkins, State Line, IN, Kristi Hazelbaker, Indianola, IL, Kelly Miller, Fithian, IL, and Joshua Hazelbaker. Tammy has 11 grandkids and 6 great grandkids. She has 4 surviving siblings, Sue Davis (Glenn) Danville, IL, Ann Hance, Danville, IL, Kimberly Bradfield (Timothy), Danville, IL, and Michelle McLaughlin, Philo, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Janet Crane, her brother Timothy Crane, Grandma and Grandpa Whitman, and her best friend Donna Jones, Denim Spring, LA.

Tammy was one of the most caring people you could ever meet. She always put the needs of others above her own. She loved cooking, going to garage sales and listening to music. She enjoyed going to watch dirt track racing and spending time at Eldora Speedway with her family. She was an amazing cook. She loved going to the Hazelbaker reunion and she would start preparing food many days in advance. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Muncie Baptist Church in Muncie, IL.
