Tammy Ellen (Dunn) Leigh

Tammy Ellen (Dunn) Leigh, 58, of Westville, IL, passed away at her home on July 6, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Born on April 19, 1966, in Danville, IL, she was the beloved daughter of the late Marion and Audrey (Loschen) Dunn.

Tammy was known for her resilient and dedicated spirit, always putting her all into everything she undertook. She had a fulfilling career as a Laborer and was also a proud holder of two Horticultural Certificates from Danville Area Community College. Her passion for gardening was just one aspect of her life that she approached with great enthusiasm and skill.

A member of the Rock Church, Tammy's faith was a significant part of her life. She enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren, gardening, taking trips to Florida with her cousin Diana Loschen, playing pool, listening to music, cooking, and visiting with her many friends. These hobbies brought her immense joy and were a big part of who she was.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Kristen Leigh (Emigdio Orozco Ambriz Sr); brothers, Terry Holbrook (Sandy) and Steve Dunn (Veronica); grandchildren, Emigdio Orozco Jr, Kayleen Orozco, and Audrey Orozco; special Aunt Linda Campbell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and many friends. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at The Rock Church in Danville, IL, Saturday July 13 11am - 1pm where friends and family will gather to honor Tammy's memory and celebrate her life. If you can, bring a dish or dessert, if not that's totally fine, just bring yourself.
