Todd Duitsman Obituary

Todd Lee Duitsman, 66, of Danville passed away on Sunday May 16th, 2021 at his favorite place, Fairview Sportsmen's Club in Oakwood Illinois.  He was born on June 25th, 1954 the youngest son of William "Bill" and Betty (Ford) Duitsman. 

He spent 43 years together with Leah Engelmann, although at times it may have seemed like they had their differences they always loved each other.  Together they raise three amazing children Shane (Rachael) Jackson of Huntsville Alabama, Rachel (Darci Quartier) Duitsman of Danville Illinois, and Lacey (Larry) Sutton of Hoopeston Illinois.  Along with five grandchildren Aaron and Ava Jackson and Lily, Louie and Lucy Sutton.

Also surviving is his loving mother Betty, his brother Rex Duitsman, niece Jennifer Kupcik, nephew Darin Duitsman and great nieces and nephews Alek, Kalyn, and Jennika Kupcik and Damon and Jessica Duitsman. 

He retired from Hyster after 45 years, serving many of those years as Union president.

As an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and beer drinker, he spent any extra time he had either on the water or at Fairview Sportsmen's Club with his family enjoying nature while serving as club president for 38 years.

Per his wishes he will be cremated with no services
