On April 6th, 2024, after a week fighting in the CCU at Carle in Champaign, IL, Troy M. Walker passed peacefully listening to his favorite radio station with his daughters and his mom holding his hands and surrounding him with love. He was 55 years old.
He is beloved and leaves behind his mother Gunnie Walker, his two daughters Brittani (Tommy) Fletcher and Ashley (Jon) Swearingen, his sister Tamara (Keith) Moschea, and his two grandchildren Oryn and Freya who lovingly call him Pawpaw. Troy was preceded in death by his father James Walker.
Troy was a Navy Veteran and a retired Electrician with Local 538 in Danville, IL. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, competing in his local pool league, nature walks, and spending time with his family and friends.
The family will be holding a private service to be determined at a later date.
