Virginia “Ginny” Marie (Barnett) Anderson, 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning 2/24/2014 at 7:25 am. Gathered together during this transition were 3 generations of her family.

She was born May 13, 1922 in Danville, IL, where she lived her entire life. She married William Lee Anderson on November 10, 1951. Together they had three children, Mark W. Anderson, Karen S. (Gregg) Miller, and Karla L. Knoll. Ginny had 9 grandchildren: Kyla Anderson, Kristin Anderson, Kassie (Michael) Long, Ben Anderson, Dalton Miller, Jay (Mary) Meeker, Jennifer (Ryan) Beyers, Maurissa (Chase) Brown, and Tyler Knoll, as well as 8 great-grandchildren.

Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Anderson in 1995 and her son, Mark W. Anderson in 2009.

Ginny had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

The family will gather for a private service. Any memorials can be made to the Danville Humane Society.
