Vickie Sue (Susie) Hemp

Vickie Sue Hemp (SUSIE) age 70 passed away Friday November 22 2024. She was born July 25, 1954, to Eugene L. Jones and Patricia A. Jones (Denney). Susie was one of six children: Rickie (Sherrie), Randy, Patty, Tracie (David), and  Rocky  all of Danville, IL.  Susie was preceded in death by both parents, her two brothers Rickie in July ‘22 and Randy in November ’21, and sister Patty in March of ‘22.

She had 5 children Susan, Shawn, Richard, Scotty and Holly. Susie had two nieces Heidi (Brett) of Ridgefarm, Harmony of Indiana, and 7 nephews, Randy Eugene Jones the 2nd (Bo) (Kristina), of Georgetown, IL.  Rickie Elvio Jones of Danville, IL, David Lee King of Peoria, IL,  Daniel Joe Spitz (Kristina) of Peoria, IL, Robby Lee Jones (Kristen) of Georgetown, IL,  Ryan Eugene Jones of Danville, IL, and Rally of Indiana. She also had some great nieces and great nephews and also comes from a large family of many cousins. Susie has one aunt, Elberta Reed who survives in California and one VERY SPECIAL Uncle Daniel Denney (Carol) of Arizona, and an Uncle Clifford (Paulette) of Il also survives.

Susie's most favorite things were watching tv, she loved old comedies and old scarry movies. She really loved Elvis Presley, BUT, mostly, she loved her family and reunions. Susie also loved the Lord and had attended Salvation Army for many years and she will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army Chapel 855 East Fairchild Street, Danville, IL on Thursday, February 13, at 3:30pm CST. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
