Vicky Lynn Steele, 72, of Danville, Illinois passed away Sunday morning, January 5, 2025 after her long battle with her illness. Vicky was born August 22, 1952 to John Sollars and Rachel Olney Watkins. 

Vicky leaves behind her two sons, Donnie (Stacy) Woods of Fall River, WI along with her two grandchildren, Skylar and Shyla Woods, and Nick (Holly) Woods of Randolph, WI along with her granddaughter, Natasha Woods. She also, had three bonus children, Debbie (Doug) Meadows of Covington, IN, Rob Elliott of Covington, IN, and Bill (Pam) Elliott of Tilton, IL. She is also survived by her brother, Wes Watkins. 

She was a bartender in her younger years and before her illness and worked several years at Wendy's and Burger King. Vicky enjoyed watching her soap operas and playing her words with friends with her neighbor Gail. 

Vicky along with her dog, Buster will be so lovingly reunited with the love of her life, Bobby Elliott, Jr. and also, her mother Rachel Watkins, her other dog Boots too, all whom she has sadly missed and her heart can be full again. 

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Steven Sollars, Kevin Watkins and Jimmy Sollars. Per her wishes there will be a graveside service at Atherton Cemetery on Friday, January 17 at 1p.m. C.S.T.
