Viola “June” Nebesnyk passed peacefully on March 20, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones. June was born to Leonard and Aural Misner on February 2, 1934 in Henning, Illinois. June moved from Hoopeston to Danville at the age of 18, and began her journey to what would include a life of family, love, and fun.
June married Andrew “Andy” Nebesnyk on September 20, 1958 at the St. James United Methodist Church in Danville, IL. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage until Andy’s passing in 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew “Andy” Nebesnyk, her parents Leonard and Aural Misner, and her sister Rosemary Reed. June leaves behind 3 children: Donna Sant (Nebesnyk), Danville, IL.; Michael (Kim) Nebesnyk, Danville, IL; and Mark (Kelly) Nebesnyk, Grant Park, IL. 3 Grand Children: Andrew Nebesnyk, Jacksonville, FL; C.J. Nebesnyk, Grant Park, IL; Ryan Nebesnyk, Flora, IL. 3 Great Grandchildren: Bentley Nebesnyk, Lincoln Nebesnyk, and Royce Nebesnyk all in Jacksonville, FL. 1 brother, Dean Misner, Hoopeston, IL., and 5 nieces and nephews.
June loved playing Bridge with her friends, gambling, trips to Las Vegas, and above all else caring for her family. She will be missed greatly and remembered fondly by everyone who knew and loved her.
