Virginia (Reitsma) Mann

Here we celebrate the Life of Virginia Mann.  Remembered in compassion by the many people she called friends which knew her as “Ginny.”  Ginny had touched the lives and families of many, but not as much as those of her heart’s fulfilling purpose.  With that we honor: Jack Mann, Tom Rutherford, and Dennis Morgan for showing love, passion and that made her adventure through life rewarding and joyful.  On the 9th of August 2021, Ginny was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by those who loved her and had been waiting patiently for her arrival.  Ginny was known by many names: “DAUGHTER” to Tom and Dorcas Reitsma, “SISTER” to Charlotte Sloan, Myreon Reitsma, Tomme Reitsma, Ray Reitsma, Eddie Reitsma and Darren Reitsma.  However, the name that brought her the most joy was “MOTHER” to her son Chad Morgan, “GRANDMOTHER” to Richard Morgan, Alex Morgan, Skyler Morgan, Justin Morgan, and Serenity Morgan, “GREAT GRANDMOTHER” to Pierson Morgan, Desmond Morgan, and the countless youth from the neighborhood who knew her only as “Grandma Ginny.”  Ginny was loved by many and cherished being “AUNT” to thirteen, “GREAT-AUNT” to twenty-six, and “GREAT GREAT-AUNT” to eleven, just to name a few.  She cherished family to include all of the people she greeted with opened arms, calling them by the same deeply impactive name of family. In this journey through life, reflecting on the impact she has had on everyone she encountered, we honor every heart she touched, and everyone that touched her heart.  As she will be missed by many, we will follow the torch she picked up and the path that she forged forward, until she greets us at the Gates of Heaven.
