Waltraud "Kitty" Daulton of Danville passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the age of 82. She passed away at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana, Illinois, after a 9-month battle with non-small cell lung cancer. Kitty was a loving wife, friend and caregiver. She is survived by her husband, Talmadge, her two sons James and Robert, her daughter Jacqueline, her three brothers Karl, Guenter and Herman of Germany, her sister Hildegard of Portsmouth, VA, and her loving puppy Little Lady.
She was preceded in passing by her daughter Dianna Marie due to asthma complications, her brother Werner Loehning, and her parents Jacob and Louise Loehning.
Waltraud grew up in Ludwigshafen, Germany, coming to America with her husband Talmadge in 1981. Her entire life was devoted to family and those she cared for as a caregiver. Pastor Ken Cameron will aid her family in hosting a private celebration of her life at her home later.
