William Leo Crowley

William Leo Crowley, 64, of Metcalf, IL, passed away December 4, 2025, at Carle Hospital, Urbana. He was born August 30, 1961, in Germany to Harold Lindon and Christel Zipfh.

William worked for Homer Truck Repair as a diesel mechanic for many years. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and painting. William will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Crowley; stepfather, Ronald Hillard; and brother, Bruce Crowley.

William is survived by his mother, Christel Hillard; brother, Michael (Shawn) Crowley; sisters, Dianne (Dave) Summers and Patricia Crowley; daughter, Misty Austin; son, Cody Crowley; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Cory) Bartzis, Andrew Bartzis, Elena (Ayden) Bartzis, Allison Bartzis, and Xavier Davis; and four great grandchildren.
