William Isaac Switzer

Bill was born on May 14, 1957, to Barry and Lavonne Switzer in Danville IL.  He met his wife Janet in 1984, and they went on to have 3 children: Stephanie (James) Lawhorn, Bridget (Dakota) Huff, William (Skyler) Switzer Jr.

After retiring in 2021, Bill spent most of his free time fishing, hunting, and giving his grandkids rides on his tractor.

William is preceded in death by his father Barry Switzer, his brother David Switzer, granddaughter Andrea Cope, and his sister-in-law Susan Switzer.  William is survived by his wife, his kids, a step-son Daniel (Suzanne) Woomer, his mother Lavonne (Carl) Neff, sister-in-law Sheila Switzer, siblings Robert Switzer, Deborah (Ned) Wright, Rebecca (Tom) Payton, Mark (Jill) Switzer, his grandchildren; Isaiah, Nicholas, Frank, Andrea, Lyla, Lena, Maliah, Samuel, Gracyn, Kamara, Cheyenne, and a great granddaughter Hazel, as well as many other loved ones.  A memorial service will be held on December 16, 2024 at Danville's First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. with his memorial service taking place at 6:30 p.m.
