Wilma L. Bush

Wilma L. Bush, 77, of Danville, IL passed away April 15, 2026, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center. She was born one of three children in Glasgow, KY on February 10, 1949.

Wilma spent most of her time as a child with her loving mother figure, Hattie, and her husband, Kenneth Selsor, and later in life her children also enjoyed spending time with their grandparents. She was employed for 30 years at R & S Printing from 1969 – 1999 as a bookbinder. The greatest joy of her adult life was raising her two daughters, Tina and Christie. She enjoyed word searches, traveling and taking long drives with her significant other, John, specifically through Kickapoo Park. She was devout in her Christian faith, attending Crusaders Church in Danville, IL for 11 years.

Wilma was preceded in death by her loving significant other of 30 years, John Hoover; and brothers, Darrel and Neil Coleman.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tina Noble of Oakwood, IL and Christie (Aaron Ayer) Bush of Kennesaw, GA; granddaughter, Kiersten (Greg Hiltabidel) Brewer; ex-husband, Don Bush; and her cat, Pretty Girl.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Crusaders Church, 1128 N. Gilbert St., Danville, IL. All are invited to come and celebrate Wilma’s life with her family.
